The Explorer changed how we present our medication management ecosystem to hospital directors. Instead of walking them through slides, we let them navigate the hospital themselves — they find the pain points on their own.

THE CHALLENGE
How do you show a product network, not just a product list?
Omnicell's portfolio is vast, automation, replenishment, data, traceability, distribution. But the real story wasn't in the products. It was in how they work together. The brief was clear: replace a 60-page catalogue with something that could actually show the network
Zoom out first.
Then let them dive in.
The strategy was built around one principle, give users a panoramic view first, then let them go deeper.
We designed three levels of reading: the full hospital ecosystem from above, a product-level exploration, and workflow-based journeys that show how everything operates as a network. The entry point doesn't matter — every path leads back to the whole
Make the complex explorable
The process was about making complexity navigable. We designed the hospital environment from scratch in 3D, placing each product in its real context, pharmacy, ward, operating room. Connection arcs make the network visible at a glance.
Hotspots open product panels without leaving the space. Workflow modes move the camera through role-based journeys, turning a static catalogue into a guided experience. Multiple entry points, one coherent world.
Built for the web. Used everywhere.
The result is an experience that works at every scale — on a screen, on a stand, in a sales meeting. What started as a web platform quickly became Omnicell's go-to sales tool, used by their teams across trade shows and client presentations to walk prospects through the full ecosystem in real time.
The shift from document to experience changed how the product is sold. Complex becomes clear. The network becomes visible. And every conversation starts from the same panoramic view of what Omnicell actually offers.
One experience, every context
The experience wasn't just built for the web, it was built to travel. From standalone web exploration to trade show booths and live sales presentations, it adapted to every context without losing its clarity. Hospital buyers could explore at their own pace. Sales teams could guide the conversation. The same panoramic view, the same depth, wherever the meeting happened.

Concept, direction, craft.
We mapped Omnicell's entire medication management ecosystem and built the strategic concept around one idea: making interconnected systems feel navigable, not overwhelming.
Creative & art direction
A clinical-grade visual language — precise, confident, uncluttered — that communicates reliability without sacrificing spatial depth or engagement.
3D direction & production
Full isometric 3D environment modelling every hardware product and workflow zone in Omnicell's portfolio, built for real-time web rendering at scale.
Interactive & UX design
A non-linear exploration model letting procurement leads, clinical directors, and IT teams each find their own path through the same environment.
Technical direction
WebGL architecture optimised for hospital network constraints — low-bandwidth fallback, WCAG AA compliance, and enterprise SSO-ready embeds.
